Despite the fact that KCCA Netball club, Uganda Christian University (UCU) and Police NC have qualified All weather courts that can host National League games at Local standards, but no change is traced.
As it has been in previous seasons that the league is played at one ground, no change 99.5% of the 2019 National Netball league games will be honoured at Mandela National Stadium Namboole (All Weather courts).
The netball governing body, Uganda Netball Federation (UNF) released the long awaited 2019 fixtures following the clubs managers’ meeting held yesterday 12 Monday August 2019 at Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) head offices Lugogo.
The top-flight league that has eight clubs shall throw off on Saturday 7 September 2010 at Namboole with five games on card.
The 2018 champions going to start their life without Stella Oyella(goal shooter) who transfered to their nemesis National Insurance Corporation (NIC) against the new comers, Makindye Division Netball club.
The Mugerwa Fred coached side, KCCA will open up against the all time league champions NIC but bearing it in mind that they (KCCA) only team that beat NIC last season apart from Prisons.
NIC will bounce back in action in the afternoon to play against Uganda Christian University (UCU) and Prisons battle it out against UPDF before KCCA return with Posta(New league entrants).
The first round of the League that starts on Saturday 7 September will come to an end on 3 November 2019, and it is to have 28 matches from six matchdays/weekends.
Apart from Police-Makindye fixture that will be played at Police children centre All weather court ground at Kibuli, the rest of the fixtures shall be honoured at Mandela National Stadium Namboole.
Prisons are the defending champions of the League.
