UFL: YMCA Skipper Believes Miracles Can Happen Ahead Of SLAU Return Leg

SLAU against YMCA in first leg at Kavule

Ufl Quarterfinal second leg:

YMCA vs St Lawrence University(0-2 Agg)

Venue: Buwambo

Date: Friday 20th September

YMCA Comprehensive skipper Mutyaba Twaha believes that miracles can still happen and turn the 2-0 defeat of first quarter leg into their favor come Friday 20, September 2019 at Buwambo.

YMCA lost 2-0 to St Lawrence University in first leg game played  at Kavule.

The Skipper Mutyaba Twaha while addressing media in the prematch press briefing at Kati Kati Restaurant Lugogo on Thursday, asserted that his side is ready to overturn the ‘look to be impossible results’ into their favor.

We going to do our best God do the rest, we going to play like men to see that miracles happen at our own home” said Twaha.

Mutyaba also said that they corrected almost all mistakes committed in first leg and they are to capitalize on the corrections made to display beautiful game for their fans at Buwambo.

“Football is a game of mistakes, they used our mistakes to beat us but we corrected them and the side with limited errors on the day will take the game.” Mutyaba said.

YMCA need atleast a 2-0 win to force the game into penalties or to win the game with a margin of 3 goals to reach Semifinals of 2019.

Davis Nono Ssozi, St Lawrence University tactician said that it’s not yet over because on the day of first leg, YMCA were only unlucky because his side made slot of mistakes.

“We are not in comfort zone as you say, they (YMCA) conceded twice but we can also do the same.

We were just lucky not to concede because we made alot of mistakes, but we watched the video and tried to correct our mistakes, don’t expect defensive game, we going to play and to get positive results”

SLAU only need a draw or a one goal difference loss for them to storm Semifinals.

Uganda Martyrs University became the first University to reach semifinals after eliminating two time league Champions MUBS by 2-0 win aggregate.
