The 2018/19 Uganda Premier league season defending champions, Kampala Capital City Authority Football continue to have a poor run in all competitions which mounts pressure on their tactician Mike Mutebi.
KCCA, on Tuesday 08th October 2019 at Njeru Technical Centre, bowed to high flying Bul FC by a 3-0 defeat in match day eight encounter.
Richard Wandyaka, Mukongotya Robert and their former player, Musa Esenu are the names that piled misery to Kasasiro boys.
KCCA are now five games clear with no win, three draws and two losses in all competitions, which Mike Mutebi is worried of.
” The league is more challenging, it’s not going to be easy but this is a marathon, we are still on it” Mike Mutebi said after the club’s second defeat of the season with five games played.
“Ok its a disappointing start of the season, but we have to carry on, we can not be sorry for ourselves. ” Mutebi bow to pressure.
The team has scored only two goals in five games in all competitions and Mike has this to comment about his forwards.
“It’s worrying that they (strikers) are not putting away our chances, it’s really worry but we have to see that we overcome it” Mike said.
KCCA collected only seven points out of the possible 15 in five games played so far, one of the poor start for the 13 time league Champions in the recent past.
Sit 13th on 16-team log, only two points separate them from the red zone. The side last tasted a win on 03rd September 2019 while beating Busoga United 1-0 at Njeru Technical Centre.
Since then, they have played three league games, lost 1-0 to Tooro United, drew 1-1 to 14th placed Bright Stars before falling in Bul’s den of 3-0.
