Pilsner awarded Vipers’ tactician Golola Edward and Bul FC’s inform forward with the coach and player of the month of October Accolades accompanied with one million shillings each.
In a press briefing held at Kati Kati Restaurant Lugogo on Monday morning, it’s when the Uganda Premier league Secretariat manager, Kabaikaramu Paul announced the winners of the month of October.
Golola Edward, beat Busoga United’s tactician Abbey Kikomeko Bogere and Peter Onen of Bul FC.
Golola who thanked Lawrence Mulindwa for the opportunity granted to him as a coach at Vipers, in the month of October, he guided the Kitende based side to five wins and two draws in seven played games in that month.
The side beat Bul, Police, Express FC, Kyetume and Proline, and drew against SC Villa and Onduparaka FC.
“I thank you for this accolade and am happy for it, but I can’t forget to thank Mr Mulindwa for the opportunity he gave to me, and my fellow coaches in the league, if it wasn’t them I wouldn’t win this” Golola after receiving the Accolade.
Mukongotya Robert to win this, he had been in a tight contest with Vipers forward Fahad Bayo, both scored four goals in month of October but Mukongotya was named man of the match on three occasions compared to Bayo who had two.
Mukongotya, who is currently with five goals in the league, he promised to keep on scoring for his team.
“I am happy for this Accolade, hardwork and fellow players helped me to reach here and I hope to score more goals for my team” Mukongotya Robert.
The month of September it was Maroons’ tactician Douglas Bamweyana and Fahad Bayo who won the awards.
