Crested Cranes second Assistant Coach Ayub Khalifah hails a practice match the National team has played against UCU Lady Cardinals today as a platform has exposed what’s done and lucking ahead of the 2019 CECAFA championship.

Khalifah pointed out strikers’ lack of concentration in the goal mouth as an area to fine tune before the championship and louds the creativity of the team as a big boom.

“We create a lot and that gives hope for goals. We only need to shape our forwards and much concentration is need in front of the goal to convert these chances”, said Ayub Khalifah.

Juliet Nalukenge shine in thus friendly as the National side registered a 5-0 win. Three goal from Nalukenge, and one from Fazila Ikwaput and Hasifah Nasuuna each tormented UCU at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

A total of twenty (20) players will leave Uganda to Dar-el-salaam in Tanzania, for a tournament that starts on 16th November 2019.

Uganda will start her group B campaign against Djibouti on 17th, Ethiopia on the 19th and will end with East African giants Kenya on 21st November.
